Method
Prep the sheet
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the mini pretzel squares in a single layer, leaving a little space between pieces so they don’t fuse while topping.
Melt and coat with white chocolate
- Melt the white chocolate melting wafers in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth and glossy.
- Spoon or drizzle the melted white chocolate over each pretzel, covering the top while leaving the edges slightly visible so the pretzel shape stays defined.
Melt and drizzle red and blue candy melts
- Melt the red candy melts in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth.
- Melt the blue candy melts in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth.
- Drizzle the red and blue melts over the white chocolate-coated pretzels using a spoon or piping bag, letting the colors land in stripes, dots, or swoops.
- Immediately scatter the star sprinkles over each piece while the chocolate is still wet so the sprinkles adhere.
Set, break, and serve
- Let the pretzel bites sit at room temperature for 30 minutes until fully set, or refrigerate for 10 minutes for faster firming.
- Break the bites apart and serve once the chocolate is set and holds its shape.
Notes
Pro tip: If your white chocolate looks thick, keep it in short microwave bursts and stir well between rounds until completely smooth. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days (best texture after 10–20 minutes at room temperature). Freezing is yes—freeze in a single layer, then transfer to a container for up to 1 month; thaw in the fridge. For a different dietary option, use dairy-free white chocolate melting wafers and dairy-free candy melts.
